We are currently looking for an Expert in Cyber Security for a private bank based in Monaco.

•Be accountable for security posture of Business Area
•Partner with Chief Security Office (CSO) strategy to ensure security strategy meets Group and Business Unit (BU) requirements
•Agree, manage and ensure delivery of proposed control environment and group programme responsibilities.
•Drive business differentiating capabilities into the Security Architecture
•Manage security threats, vulnerabilities, non-compliances and risks specific to the BU
•Identify and manage BU specific cyber and information security requirements including championing into the CSO demand
•Determine and communicate the business security posture in line with control and management committee requirements.
•Champion training and awareness for BU/region based on cyber and info policy/standards
•Manage BU board engagement and commitments as and when required
•Work with the business to establish appropriate and business accepted Cyber Risk Appetite
•Deputize for Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in region
•Manage build out of risk and control profiles of key business processes
•Partner with security architecture to ensure consistent process led approach to defining investment opportunities across business
•Understand business strategy (e.g. flourish, stability, customer obsession) and partner to deliver securely
•Partner with CSO to better understand and mitigate risks to key business processes
•Create bespoke cyber programme for BU leveraging economies of scale where appropriate
•Ensure dashboard culture optimised
•Ensure business area aiming for compliance with key indicators
•Work with Accountable Executives to remediate issues/risks in a timely fashion
•Ensure control exceptions are managed effectively
•Create dashboards (not reports) for a BUs compliance
•Drive security control scope to meet business or regulatory needs beyond mandated baseline requirements
The successful candidate will have experience in the financial services sector and ideally :
•A strong understanding of the private bank industry and regulations impacting Information Risk.
•Strong understanding of one or more of the Technology or Operations Businesses on a front to back basis
•Experience in Cyber & Information Security critical for the role.
•A good understanding of risk, and a proven track record in exercising judgment in risk situations
•Strong communication and influencing skills, including projecting a senior presence and ability to lead others
•Experience of successful and comprehensive leadership within a function or business that translates comfortably into Resilience, Risk & Control and/or similar in a complex organisation.
•Works effectively across multiple disciplines within a large organisation to drive outcomes
•Experience of and successful operating capability of operating in a matrix management model where influencing, negotiating and challenging skills have been highly leveraged.
•Ability to work under pressure
•Strong and proven record of operating with / advising the senior levels of management in a large multinational financial organisation.
•Strong and proven track record of engaging with and successfully working with senior stakeholders, at all levels of the organisation
•Proven track record of the developing and the implementation of Information controls that improve the control landscapes.
•Interpretative thinking and advanced analytical skills to problem-solve in often complex/sensitive situations.
•Strong understanding of threats, risks, impacts and associated mitigations as they relate to business resilience within a major banking organisation.
•Strong ability to evaluate options and maintain flexibility to new information and evolving environment.
•Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory bodies, standards and industry better practice
•Knowledge of working in an ERMF environment with a 3LoD methodology.
•Proven track record of excellent verbal and written communication skills including influencing.
•Maintains high standards of personal integrity, whilst demonstrating respect for other viewpoints.
