1. PO MANAGEMENT
o To issue PO for PS Group vessel entities
o To validate and update the PO monitoring once the Suppliers Invoices are received, or circulate for internal validation for non-issued PO.

2. VESSEL MANAGEMENT :
o Preparation of Vessels Budget and Forecasts.
o Monitor vessels management funds requests and utilization.
o Preparation of Funds Requests based on budget.
o Preparation of monthly Vessel Reports including variance analysis
o Preparation of Accounts analysis for crewing, insurance, technical and other accounts.

3. SAGE ENCODING :
o To record AP invoices and payments done.
o To lettrage in SAGE once payments are fully executed.
o To register new suppliers in the system after all relevant documents are received.

4. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE (VESSEL ACCOUNTS) :
o To manage supplier’s recon and inform parties (internal – requesting department or external – suppliers) in cases of variances.
o Attend supplier’s meeting if necessary to establish better credit terms.
o To liaise with Payable team re management of scheduled payments of vessel suppliers.

5. OTHER MATTERS :
o To assist in other matters assigned by the immediate superiors and/or the Management.

Job Requirements

Education : Accounting and/or Commercial.
Experience : Extensive work experience in vessel account management. At least two years of AP and vessel accounts experience, preferably in shipping or energy sector. Knowledgeable with Automated Accounting/Commercial System (SAGE) or at least trainable. Have knowledge in accounts reconciliation. Multi-lingual skills (English, French).
